Frankly, pppy writing was over the top, the characters not only flat but unlikeable and believe me, likeable and serial killer are not mutually exclusive and mostly, I was just bored. As stupid books go this was insanely gruesome but it Why didn’t I review this one before?

In this third novel, the author, now 29, outdoes herself, creating a pair of gay necrophiliac lovers–both serial killers–who meet in New Orleans for a feast of corpse-eating and coupling with the popy dead. I would love to discuss this book and how it impacted me more than what is possible in a public review.

She takes the reader into the head of not only the victim but the killers as well. It captures a moment in tim I made it through the entire book. Nimrods all; you can only corpsse for the worst for them, but unfortunately, you know that someone has to make it out alive.

Exquisite Corpse is definitely of its time mid 80’s I’d forgotten how horrified people were about AIDS and serial killers. Nevertheless for those who desire a unique and grotesque experience, there is really nothing else quite like it.

It is likely the reason why Poppy Z. Others have summarized the plot see below. This one is filled to the brim with necrophilia and cannibalism and rape and harsh feelings. Brite may well lose fans this time, her superbly composed arias on the most disgusting forms of death and sloshy decay being likely to turn off many admirers of her previous torchlit searches through the caverns of hell. Both subjects seem thoroughly explored even overdone today. His style is effective, the characters believable if one has read about serial killers.

This machination is used to describe a method of writing through collaboration where each writer will tack on their narrative to the end of the last, without wxquisite knowing what came before.
